Atheists Don’t Have No Songs —

Steve Martin is so outrageously talented there ought to be a law against it.

He’s a stand-up comic, an actor, a director, a novelist, a playwright, a first-rate banjo player, and an all-around wild and crazy guy. So leave it to him to notice something missing in the world of music, a big lack that I’ll bet you never thought existed. I know I didn’t. And having noticed the lack, he’s filled it, brilliantly.

Here’s Steve Martin, backed up by the Steep Canyon Rangers, singing Atheists Don’t Have No Songs, from the complete atheist hymnal (that’s the single sheet, right there in his hand):

BRILLIANT! Thanks, Judy, for sharing this. We love, love, love Steve Martin. (BTW, his twitter feed is pretty hilarious, too.) Happy holidaze to you, Frank, and the rest of the rest of the family.

That made me laugh out loud. I’ve been a Steve Martin fan for a long, long time ( just wrote an SM fan but that looked wrong!). Dashing off to check his Twitter posts. Thanks for sharing 🙂
