It tasted just as good as it looked – and it took approximately 2 1/2 minutes to put together. What more could you ask of a dessert?
A secret to be shared: begin with a package of prepared phyllo shells, frozen or from the grocery shelf. Mix together 1/2 cup crême fraîche with 2 tablespoons of bought lemon curd. (If you make such things yourself go right ahead and use that, but just know, I’m out of your league!) Add a pinch of cinnamon if you like.
Fill the phyllo cups with the mixture. Then top attractively with blueberries or raspberries or strawberries. Tap a strainer holding confectioner’s sugar over all until it looks as “snowy” as you like. Serve, and stand back.
One package of phyllo shells contains 15 of these little crunchy lovelies. Since they’re about 2 bites each, better buy a lot. And I’m telling you — yum.
Lecker! (That’s what it looks like.)

Lecker is exactly the word!
(I hope you’re seeing the revised version giving the “recipe,” I tried posting from my iPad Mini for the first time and it didn’t work 😦
Our young German friend from Koeln is here, and we fixed them together. Tonight she’s making the “traditional” pork chops for us!

I’ve been away so it’s a treat to be back amid such culinary delights as the previous post and this one! We used to go sugaring in VT when we homesteaded there. I’d never had syrup and pickles before that but the combo was surprisingly good (though I prefer my syrup on pancakes or waffles). I may have to try the above recipe this weekend just as a homecoming treat. I LOVE lemon curd!

So, so easy — all you need to do is have the phyllo shells. Maybe they already sell them in Japan?
